Kaigan Games, in partnership with Maze Theory and BBC Studios, has just released Doctor Who: The Lonely Assassins on mobile and PC.
In case you haven’t been following its progress, Doctor Who: The Lonely Assassins is a “found phone” game. It sees you fielding calls, answering messages, watching videos, and more on a phone you have to imagine you found discarded on the streets of London.
Narrative-wise, the game builds on the events of the fan-favorite “Blink” episode of the long-running series. Those events, of course, take place at Wester Drumlins, and feature the dreaded Weeping Angels.
Doctor Who: The Lonely Assassins features footage shot on location in London and Cardiff, and blends live-action material with puzzle gameplay. It also features members of the show’s cast, including Ingrid Oliver as Petronella Osgood, and even a cameo from Jodie Whittaker, the Doctor herself.
If you’re a fan of Doctor Who or formally adventurous mobile games, this looks like an absolute no-brainer.
You can download it for $2.99 right now on the Google Play Store.
