Stardew Valley has just turned five. ConcernedApe marked the occasion on Twitter yesterday, writing, ” Just want to say thanks to all of you for being part of this. It’s been really cool.”
This triggered an avalanche of love from fans, including the Among Us account, the official Xbox account, and Terraria developer Andrew Spinks (who recently made headlines for tweeting in less propitious circumstances).
At the time of writing ConcernedApe’s tweet has over 150,000 likes and 3,600 replies.
In response, ConcernedApe wrote:
This isn’t a hard-hitting news story. Sorry. But we thought the whole episode was quite sweet and worth flagging.
Stardew Valley, for the uninitiated, is a universally beloved farming game about building a new life in the countryside. It recently received a huge 1.5 update, adding tons of new content and making a variety of experience-enhancing tweaks.
The update hasn’t reached Android yet, alas, but it’s definitely coming. In the meantime you can download Stardew Valley for the bargain price of $4.99 right now on the Google Play Store.
