Back in December, Capcom premiered an enticing trailer for Monster Hunter Rise at The Game Awards 2020 and announced a demo set to arrive sometime this month. Now, a Monster Hunter Rise broadcast has been announced that, according to 4Gamer (via Siliconera), will reveal the Monster Hunter Rise demo release date.
The broadcast will go out over Monster Hunter's official Twitch and YouTube channels at 6am PST/2pm GMT this Thursday, January 7. You can expect to see some fresh footage of the hotly anticipated actioner, as well as guest appearances from director Yasunori Ichinose and producer Ryozo Tsujimoto.
The gameplay trailer released at TGA 2020 shows off two all-new monsters who'll make their grand debuts in the upcoming title: Bishaten, a strange beast with a distinctive tail, and aquatic leviathan Somnacanth. Beyond the newcomers, we also get a good look at some returning critters, including the Royal Ludroth and the birdlike Great Wroggi. Just because they're old, doesn't mean they're any less deadly.
