Following last week’s news that NetEase will release a mobile port of acclaimed metroidvania Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, we’ve now got word of when it will be released and how much it’ll cost.
Developed by ArtPlay, the studio co-founded by Castlevania alumnus Koji Igarashi, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a gothic side-scrolling action game in which you explore a huge castle, killing monsters and gradually gaining access to new areas. You know, like Castlevania.
There are 120 different minions and bosses to defeat, and once you take a boss out you acquire its abilities. There are 107 different weapons, too, as well as 23 skills and several combos.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a hugely acclaimed Metroidvania, and the closest you can get to the glory days of Symphony of the Night.
And you’ve only got a few weeks to wait before you play it on mobile. The game will be out some time in December, costing $9.99. Head to the Google Play Store to pre-register right now.
